Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) is a 4-year Programme, divided equally into 8 semesters, offered at the graduate level in India. It is the essential and fundamental requirement for stepping in the field of Pharmacy. As per the present curriculums in India, B. Pharm degree mainly prepares the candidates to work in the pharmaceutical industry or to practice pharmacy in a community or hospital pharmacy. B.Pharm. programme offered by HIMT Group of Institutions is Affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and Approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi

Bachelor’s of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) program is intended to train the students to play an important role in community pharmacy and facilitate the pharmaceutical industry at various levels. The course is mainly based on practice and interaction with a strong focus on the healthcare system. This will empower students to practice pharmacy profession in a strong, skilful and determined manner.

Eligility criteria

  • The Candidate must have passed intermediate/10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/University; securing minimum 45% (40% SC/ST) Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology

  • For Admission to second year of B. Pharm. (Lateral entry) Candidate should have passed 2years Diploma in Pharmacy from recognised college/institute with minimum 60% marks.

Mr. Balwan Singh

Associate Professor & HOD

Mr. Balwan Singh is working as an Associate Professor & HOD in HIMT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. He is a consistent, enthusiastic and hardworking faculty, serving HIMT since 2009. Mr. Balwan has done M Pharm in Pharmaceutics and pursuing Ph.D. from M.D.U., Rohtak. He is GATE and FATE (AKTU) qualified. His area of interest is Drug Delivery, Nanotechnology, Regulatory Affairs and Good Manufacturing Practices in pharmaceutical industry. He has authored more than 15 papers in various national/international journals and conferences, book and a chapter for international book. He has been awarded with many accolades like best teacher, best employee and all-rounder by the Institute for his dynamic contribution towards the growth of the organization. His achievements in various other arenas include guiding M. Pharm students and acting as a panellist for examination in various reputed universities in north India.

Ms. Kalpana Singh

Assistant Professor

Ms. Kalpana Singh has done M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Dr. K.N. Modi Institute of Education and Research, Modinagar, U.P. In addition to teaching, she is interested in research with major focus on design and synthesis of novel compounds of anti-cancer and anti-microbial potential. Ms. Kalpana has published a paper in scopus indexed journal and attended various conferences. One patent from her M. Pharm. research work is also credited to her name

Ms. Kamini Kalia

Assistant Professor

Ms. Kamini Kalia, earned her Post-graduate in 2015 from Rayat Institute of Pharmacy, securing 2nd position in college. She has cumulative 5 years of work experience including 3 years in Industry. Ms. Kamini has also attended FDP/QIP programs along with a national conference at Rayat Bahra. Her core area of research include neuropharmacology with special emphasis on studying effects of herbals in CNS disorders.

Mr. Lalit Mohan Nainwal

Assistant Professor

Mr. Lalit Mohan Nainwal received his M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, from Dibrugarh University, Assam. He is pursuing Ph.D, from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. Mr. Lalit has worked as JRF in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi from 2014-2017. He was also awarded with UGC-GPAT, CSIR-SRF (2017-2020) for doing research during Ph.D. His major research areas are design and development of small molecules as anticancer and anti-inflammatory agents. Mr. Lalit is credited with 20 research/review papers in various peer reviewed/SCI indexed journals of national and international repute. In addition to this, he has also authored one book and one-chapter in international book (Elsevier).

Ms. Manisha Singh

Ms. Manisha Singh is a dynamic personality with more than 7 years of teaching experience in HIMT College of pharmacy. She has done M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm.), Greater Noida, GBTU (U.P) with distinction. Ms. Manisha has published review article in “International journal of drug delivery” & participated in various seminars & conferences. She has been bestowed with award for her dynamic contribution to the institute

Mr. Neeraj Kumar

Assistant Professor

Mr. Neeraj Kumar is a diligent academician with 4 years of experience in teaching pharmacology. He did his B. Pharm from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow (U.P.) and M. Pharm in Pharmacy Practice from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Educational and Research (NIPER), Hajipur. Mr. Neeraj has published his research work in peer reviewed journals and participated in several conferences and workshops. His area of research is focused on clinical Pharmacology, cancer chemotherapy, oxidative stress and diabetes.

Ms. Munish Pal

Assistant Professor

Ms. Munish Pal is a passionate teacher with zest for teaching. she did her M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (U.P). Ms. Munish has published research and review papers in national and international journals and attended numerous seminars and conferences. Core area of her research lies in studying development of new methods of analysis of pharmaceuticals and studying chemistry of compounds of natural origin.

Ms. Neha Verma

Assistant Professor

Ms. Neha did M. Pharm in Pharmacology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (U.P). She is interested in doing research in reproductive pharmacology, studying effects of air pollution and stress on fertility of females.

Dr. Poonam Arora

Associate Professor

A passionate teacher and researcher with keen interest in phytopharmacology and natural product research. Dr. Poonam, earned her Doctorate degree from Jamia Hamdard. She has more than 15 years of cumulative experience in teaching, research and industry. Her expertise lies in isolation and studying efficacy of bioactive molecules of natural origin in asthma, cancer and other disorders of immune system at molecular levels. She is GATE qualified with 97 percentile and received several awards including HNF-Jamia Hamdard, UGC-JRF, ICMR-SRF and P.D. Seth’s best research paper award since 2013. Her research career is rewarded by publication of more than 30 research/review papers/chapters in peer reviewed/SCI indexed journals/books and national and international conferences held in India and abroad. Dr. Poonam is also serving as member of reviewers and editorial team of various societies and journals of national and international repute including RSC, ISE, Elseiver, Taylor and Francis

Dr. Rajesh Kumar

Associate Professor

Dr. Rajesh Kumar has over 9 years of experience in academics as a teacher, guide and researcher. He is M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from JSSCOP, Ooty (T.N.). and Ph.D from DIPSAR, New Delhi. His professional achievements can be viewed from his publications in several journals, seminars and conferences. Dr. Rajesh has also a book on Food & Nutraceuticals to his name. He has research orientation towards NDDS, recent advances in drug delivery, oral insulin drug delivery, gastroretentive formulations.

Ms. Swati Mittal

Assistant Professor

A self-disciplined and punctual teacher with zeal to make teaching interesting and informative. Ms. Swati is pursuing her PhD from Abhilashi University, Himachal Pradesh (H.P.). She has a vivid 7 years of experience in teaching Pharmaceutics. A Textbook on Novel drug delivery systema and various research and review articles published in national and international journals are credited to her name.

Dr. Swati Chauhan

Assistant Professor

Dr. Swati Chauhan is an academician and researcher with significant achievements in the field of pharmaceutics. She did her Ph.D from Amity, Noida. She has published her research in various peer reviewed national and international journals and conferences. Dr. Swati has also filed two patents. Her core research area include development of novel drug delivery system including vesicular & nano-carriers, hydrogel and sterile formulations, herbo-nanoceuticals and Microbiology.

The Library, knownas the knowledge Resource Centre(KRC), is the heart of the Academic Centre at Harlal Institute of Management & Technology. The Library with its modern collection of information services plays a vital role in the intellectual pursuits of HIMT acamedic community.

Library holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books,journals,databases,audio-visual materials,CDs,e-journals,annuals,annual reports of top companies,case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. The Library subcribes print journals through various databases.

Language Lab

Indoor Sports:-Indoor games / activities like Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Gymnasium etc. are provided by the institute. Outdoor sports:-HIMT is having outdoor sports facilities for Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton etc. The spacious grounds of the College are maintained for this purpose.

Medical Facility

First aid and elementary medical facilities are available in the hostel through a qualified Doctor. In case of emergency, student is taken to the nearest medical practitioner / hospital for which a van is available 24 hrs. on campus and the local guardian is duly informed. The local guardian will take charge of ward thereafter and all Medical expenses will have to be borne by him.The entire responsibility of treatment will rest with the parent/local guardian/student concerned.

Residency

Hostel is available for girls & boys separately inside the HIMT campus. The hostel is fully equipped with high quality of infrastructure which includes students rooms with facilities,common room with LCD, Wi-Fi internet facility, well maintained hostel mess etc. as reflection, the infrastructure is characterized by a lot of open space,warmth and cheer. In addition 24 hour transport facility is available at the campus for the students residing in the HIMT hostel.
